How to Get to RMA in Microsite

For information on how to get to the microsite vehicle health review page, please reference our guide on “Understanding and Using Microsite for Health Review”

1. Click on the Edit icon in the vehicle section
   

How to RMA in Microsite

1. Click on any of the UDU device that needs RMA (Return Merchandize Authorization) as highlighted in BLUE
   1. RMA this UDU should be selected if we have issues with the gateway
   2. RMA this WU should be selected if we have issues with the window unit
      

How to Search for the Vehicle to RMA

After the RMA type has been selected, Follow the steps below

1. Input the New truck/Kit number
   1. If not available, use the other filters listed below
2. Click search
   

*Note: It is important that the new unit is already installed and connected to cellular network or GPS before we perform RMA to prevent the lose of the old UDU information or/and the new UDU information. Please reach out to your support team if you encounter any issues with this. 

How to Update the New UDU Information Part 1

1. New UDU MAC Address: Insert the new UDU MAC Address
2. New UDU S/N: Insert the new UDU serial number
3. New UDU SW Version: Insert the software version the new UDU will be on
4. New UDU HW Version: Insert the new UDU hardware version
5. RMA# (Tag): This tag number is automatically generated
   

1. Failure Details Component Code: Select from the dropdown menu the failure code for doing an RMA
   1. For the purpose of this guide, we choose V4 Gateway UDU
2. Causal Code: Select from the dropdown menu the code that fits the causation of this equipment to malfunction after investigation
   1. For the purpose of this guide, we will choose no connection
3. Labor Code: Select from the dropdown menu the code that fits the action taken to fix the issue
   1. For the purpose of this guide, we will choose Re-Connect/Re-Install
4. This is a section is used to briefly document the reason for RMA
5. This section provides detailed instructions on how to return RMA equipment’s as highlighted in BLUE
6. Click submit
