Guide Purpose: How to Locate Collection Stops Collection Stop Details Explained

Guide Purpose:

  • This guide IS designed to:
    • Show where to find Collection Stops
    • Explain the information in the Collection Stop
  • This guide IS NOT designed to:
    • Show how Collection Stop is uploaded into the portal.

How to Locate Collection Stops

  1. Click on “Administration” tab
  2. Select the “Configuration” button
  3. Select the “Collection Stop” button
  4. Search and select tenant
  5. Search and select the division
  6. Review the Stop information as highlighted in the BLUE box

Collection Stop Details Explained

  1. StopID: This is the stop identification number used to identify a service that was done
    1. This information is provided by the tenant
  2. Name: This shows the end user’s/customer’s name as defined by the Tenant
    1. This information is provided by the tenant
  3. Address: This shows the address provided by the tenant for the end user/customer
    1. This information is provided by the tenant

  1. Latitude: This is the GPS coordinate provided by the tenant for the customer
    1. If the tenant does not provide this information, Latitude will be generated from the address provided
  2. Longitude: This is the GPS coordinate provided by the tenant for the customer
    1. If the tenant does not provide this information, Longitude will be generated from the address provided
  3. Material Category: This is the type of material the customer registered to be hauled
    1. This information is provided by the tenant
    2. This is used in association logic tied to the route
  4. Equipment Type: This shows the type of can and/or container that the customer has
    1. This information is provided by the tenant
  5. Line of Business: This shows which line of business the customer is registered for
    1. This information is provided by the tenant
  6. Quantity: This shows the quantity of can or container the customer has registered
    1. This information is provided by the tenant
    2. This will be used in association logic for future enhancement

  1. Contract: This is used to identify the contract ID the customer uses to link to their billing
    1. This information is provided by the tenant
  2. Customer Number: This is the unique customer number the tenant links all Stop Ids for the purpose of billing
    1. For example: 5 McDonalds store with different addresses will be linked to one customer number
    2. This information is provided by the tenant
  3. Last Updated: This is generated by 3rd Eye based on the last time the customer information was updated
  4. Description: This is a description of the cans or containers the customer has registered
    1. This information is provided by the tenant
  5. Ref Distance: This shows the distance of the stop from the parcel if the lat/long is not on the parcel
    1. For example: if the lat/long points to the main road and the parcel is next to the main road)
    2. This information is provided by the tenant
  6. Parcel ID: This is the identification number of a customer’s lot
    1. This information is provided by the tenant
    2. This is generated by 3rd eye if not provided by customer based on the lat/long.
    3. If the lat/long does not have a parcel it will find the closest parcel to the lat/long
    4. This is required for residential association logic tied to the route and will be required for commercial association in the future
