Guide Purpose:
- This guide IS designed to:
- Show where to find vehicle Health
- Show how to understand the information displayed in Fleet Health.
- This guide IS NOT designed to:
- Show you how to diagnose and treat health symptoms
How to View Vehicle Health
- Click on Vehicle Health tab
- Select Fleet Health menu
- Select tenant under division filter by searching or scrolling through the dropdown.
- Once tenant or subdivision is selected, we can only see vehicles under that tenant.
- Select the Body type from the dropdown
- Once body type is selected, we can only see vehicles under the body type.
- Select the Line of business from the dropdown.
- Once line of business is selected, we can only see vehicles under the business type.
- Insert the vehicle name provided if you are looking for a specific vehicle
- Select Health Tigger from the dropdown.
- This filter is used when we need a specific category of the health status
- Based on the health status category selected, it will only show vehicles that fails in that category.
- For example: If camera is selected, it will only show vehicles where the cameras failed/down.
Understanding The Fleet Health Page
Vehicle: This shows the vehicle name as defined by the customer.
Division: Shows the Division the vehicle is assigned to.
Body Type: Shows the body type assigned to the vehicle.
LOB: Shows the line of business assigned to the vehicle.
Cameras: Are devices we install on our vehicles to capture images and videos internally or externally. Shows the number of cameras available and working
- Green shows the camera is available and working
- Red shows the camera is available but not working
- Gray means the port is not configured to download media (disabled).
SD cards: Are the recording storage devices inside our gateway units that are installed in the vehicle. Shows the number of SD cards available and working.
- Green shows the SD cards are available and working
- Red shows the SD cards are available but not working
- Gray shows the SD cards are not installed or currently unseated
Connectivity: Shows if the device is communicating with the cloud. The status of other categories is based on connectivity.
- When its red, the other health indicators show the last status available when the vehicle connected.
- When its green, the other health indicators show their status in real time.
GPS: Shows if the vehicle can tell its current location.
- Green means the vehicle was able to broadcast its location.
- Red means the vehicle was not able to broadcast its location.
J1939: Is the vehicle bus recommended practice used for communication and diagnostics among vehicle components. Shows J1939 is available and connected to our vehicle
- When its green, network is up on the vehicle.
- When its red, network is down on the vehicle.
- When its gray, network is not connected to the vehicle at all.
Export to csv: Allows the fleet health information to be exported to a spread sheet.
