WI#: 3EC-GATEWAYMOUNT-BETWEENSEATS
Purpose: Provide gateway mounting instructions when installing inside a conventional cab equipped with bucket seats.
Details: The 3rd Eye gateway and backup battery box must be mounted to prevent damage to the gateway or the cabling as a result of gateway movement. Between the bucket seats against the back of the cab wall is the PRIMARY option when mounting the gateway in a conventional cab chassis with bucket seats. Figure 1.1 and 1.2 show how a gateway should mount to the floor utilizing the mounting plate along with the Autocar plate.
