Mounting Locations - Under Bench

Purpose: Provide gateway mounting instructions when installing inside a conventional cab equipped with a bench seat.
Details: The 3rd Eye gateway and backup battery box must be mounted to prevent damage to the gateway or the cabling as a result of gateway movement. Under the bench seat is the PRIMARY option when mounting the gateway in a conventional cab chassis with a bench seat. There are variations to this seat option that include (but not limited to) a seat that folds up or a seat with an open bottom. Figure 1.1 and 1.2 show how a gateway should mount to the floor utilizing the mounting plate when the unit has the open bottom bench seat option. Figures 2.1 and 2.2 show the fold up seat option and how a gateway should mount to the floor utilizing the mounting plate when the chassis is equipped with this seat.
