Guide Purpose: How to View System Events How to Pull System Events

Guide Purpose:

  • This guide IS designed to:
    • Show how to view System Events.
    • Show how to pull the System Events.
  • This guide IS NOT designed to:
    • Explain how to read a specific system event type.

How to View System Events

  1. Go to Administration Tab.
  2. Select Operations Menu.
  3. Go to Live status Menu.
  4. Input Company/Division name in filter.
  5. Input the Vehicle Number in the vehicle Name section.
  6. Select the vehicle.
  7. Click on System Events button.

How to Pull System Events

  1. Search and select the division name in the Division filter.
    1. This section will be prefilled from the administration page if “How to View Systems Page” steps was followed.
  2. Input the vehicle Number in the Vehicle Name section.
    1. This section will be prefilled from the administration page if “How to View Systems Page” steps was followed.
  3. Delete the IP information in this section to pull all the system events repository.
    1. The IP address populated is based on the vehicles last power on.
    2. A new IP address is created every time a vehicle is turned off and takes a while to be turned back on.
      1. For example: If a driver takes turns of the vehicle to take a lunch break, a new IP address will be generated when he starts the vehicle again.
  4. Input the system event type you want to view in the Type section.
    1. The most common system event types searched:
      1. Ignition
      2. Sim Information
      3. Profile
      4. GPS
      5. Software
      6. Firmware
  5. Event ID is a sequential number use to find a certain event.
    1. This sequential number resets every hour.
  6. Global ID is a sequential number use to find a certain event.
    1. This sequential number is generated in increment.
    2. The number gets lower from the recent event.
