How to Get to Asset Management

1. Click on the Administration tab
2. Select asset management from the drop-down menu
   

How to Create a New Asset

1. Click on the New Asset Button
   

How to Fill Out New Asset Information

1. Name: Insert the name of asset
2. Serial Number: Insert the serial number of the asset
3. Type: Select the type of asset from the dropdown list
   1. We currently have to Assets we support, Vertical baler and Compactor.
4. Manufacturer: Insert the name of the manufacturer of the asset
5. Model: Insert the model of the asset
6. Year of Manufacturer: Insert the year the asset was manufactured
   

1. Color: Insert the color of the asset
2. Description: Insert any information of the asset
3. Tags: This is used to identify the asset
   1. This field has not been properly defined yet.
4. Use the edit button to insert the image of the asset into the asset information to help with identification
5. Click next
   

How to Configure Settings for Vertical Baler

1. Minimum Distance to start a Trip: This field is not currently being configured and might be repurposed
   1. For now, use default values
2. Minimum Parking time to end a trip: This field is not currently being configured and might be repurposed
   1. For now, use default values
3. Power rating: This field is not currently being configured and might be repurposed
   1. For now, use default values
4. Minimum Bale Weight: This shows the value of the minimum bale weight set for the asset
5. Maximum Bale Weight: This shows the value of the maximum bale weight set for the asset
6. Click next
   

How to Configure Settings for Compactor

1. Minimum Distance to start a Trip: This field is not currently being configured and might be repurposed
   1. For now, use default values
2. Minimum Parking time to end a trip: This field is not currently being configured and might be repurposed
   1. For now, use default values
3. Minimum Pressure: This is the set minimum pressure for the compactor
4. Maximum Pressure: This is the set maximum pressure for the compactor
5. Critical Pressure: This is a set pressure value of the compactor, where the pressure is considered critical
   

1. Tare: This is the weight value of the compactor when considered empty. This field is not currently being configured and might be repurposed.
   1. For now, use default values
2. Cycle Time: This is the time in seconds it takes for the compactor to complete a cycle
3. Power rating: This is dependent on the value of the compactor’s pressure. This value is not set at the moment
4. Click Next
   

How to Complete Configuration

1. Model: Insert the hardware model of the asset attached to the asset
2. Serial Number: Insert the serial number of the hardware attached to the asset
3. Click save
