Guide Purpose: How to Identify if a vehicle has Certif-Eye Identifying if a Specific Division is Enabled for Certif-Eye Identify J1939 and GPS are working for Certify-Eye. How to view Certif-Eye Details Highlight on Certify Details

Guide Purpose:

    • Show where to find Certif-Eye details
    • Highlight Certif-Eye details
    • Alternate ways to confirm Certif-Eye
  • This guide is NOT designed to:
    • Explain what Certif-Eye is

How to Identify if a vehicle has Certif-Eye

  1. Go to the Administration tab
  2. Select the configuration menu
  3. Select the organization menu
  4. Select the tenant’s name by searching or scrolling through the dropdown
    1. If a subdivision is needed, click here to learn more about how to view a division level.
  5. Identify the tracking value. For Certif-Eye to work, the value will need to be either parcel or state.
    1. If the tracking and Interval section fields is grayed out, click here for more information
  6. Understand the interval value.
    1. This interval is how frequent a value gets updated

Identifying if a Specific Division is Enabled for Certif-Eye

  1. Select the sub-division to view from the dropdown list
  2. Identify the values in the fields tracking and interval.
    1. If the values are parcel or state then, Certif-Eye is enabled.
    2. If the values are not parcel or state and values can’t be changed, please reach out to your administrator.

Identify J1939 and GPS are working for Certify-Eye.

  1. Go to vehicle Health tab
  2. Select the tenant name by searching or scrolling through the dropdown
  3. Review the status of GPS
    1. When its green, GPS is available and working
    2. When its red, the customer will not get location data needed for Certif-Eye
  4. Review the status of J1939
    1. When its green, J1939 is available and working
    2. When its red, the customer will not get fuel usage, engine hours, and odometer needed for Certif-Eye
    3. When its gray, we need to document in the comment section that vehicle is not configured for J1939 and will not be capable of getting the full Certif-Eye product offering

How to view Certif-Eye Details

  1. Go to Fleet Tab
  2. Select company name by searching or by scrolling through the dropdown list.
  3. Select the requested truck using vehicle/KIT number provided
  4. Click on Road Usage button

Highlight on Certify Details

To identify Certif-Eye features are working, the following fields will populate with data (value should be greater than zero):

  1. Start Odometer (data comes from J1939)
  2. Start Latitude (data comes from GPS)
  3. Start Longitude (data comes from GPS)
  4. Start Engine Hours (data comes from J1939)

  1. Total Mileage Public HR “High Resolution” (data comes from J1939)
  2. Total Mileage Private HR “High Resolution” (data comes from J1939)
  3. Total Mileage Public HR “Low Resolution” (data comes from J1939)
  4. Total Mileage Private HR “Low Resolution” (data comes from J1939)

  1. Total Distance Public GPS: Shows data from GPS
  2. Total Distance Private GPS: Shows data from GPS 

  1. Total Fuel Public HR “High Resolution” Shows data from J1939
  2. Total Fuel Private HR “High Resolution” Shows data from J1939
  3. Total Fuel Public LR “Low Resolution” Shows data from J1939
  4. Total Fuel Private LR “Low Resolution” Shows data from J1939
