Guide Purpose:

  • This guide IS designed to:
    • Show how to monitor a facility for contamination event
    • Show how to document a contamination event when detected
  • This guide IS NOT designed to:
    • Show how to register a hauler.

How to Log into Wastack

  1. Got to Wastack URL
    1. Wastack URL: https://facility.3rdeyecam.com/
  2. Insert sign-on email
  3. Insert your password
  4. Log in

How to Get to Event Review Page

  1. Insert the facility name to search
  2. Click on the Analyst Workflow to get to events to reviews

Understanding Event Review Page

  1. The select date button allows a reviewer to select the date they want to review from
    1. We recommend review should be done for the prior day.
      1. This helps with making sure we have a full days’ worth of events to review
    2. Reload image button is used to refresh the event images
    3. Show user detections button is used to reference any marked contamination recorded for that day.
    4. The box highlighted in the GREEN box shows the contamination list reviewed for this facility
    5. This section highlighted in ORANGE box, shows the image for the events for the day.
      1. Events are time stamped in an increment of 10 seconds as highlighted in the BLUE boxes

Example of Non-Contaminated Event

  1. Identify when the vehicle starts to dump
    1. Review different frames as the vehicle is dumping for any contamination
  2. Identify when the vehicle has completed its dump
    1. Select this frame for further review to make sure there are no contamination in the load dumped

  1. Review the dump as highlighted in the ORANGE box for any contamination by clicking on the preferred image from the Analyst Workflow page
    1. Zoom into by using the scroll on your mouse get a better view of the dump

Example of Contaminated Event Detection

  1. Identify contamination in the dumped load
    1. Please make sure to zoom in and get a clear picture if any identified contamination
    2. Make sure to look through the dump for any other contamination
  2. Use the annotation mode to identify contamination in the dump pile

  1. Annotation mode allows you insert a RED square around the contamination to identify it.
    1. For this example, a tire is identified
  2. Observe the vehicle for any distinct feature or labels to help identify the customer or vehicle as seen in the image highlighted in the BLUE box
  3. If name is visible, Insert the name in the select hauler field
    1. Over time, a video reviewer can easily identify a company by observing the vehicle. Please review the vehicle properly before inserting the hauler so the wrong company is not billed.
  4. Insert the quantity of the contamination (tire) identified in the dump pile as highlighted in the ORANGE box
  5. Click the license plate lookup to find the hauler vehicle
    1. This is used to identify the hauler for proper billing
    2. This is also another form of validation for the selected hauler

How to Find License Plate

  1. Use the time vehicle was at the dump site to look for when the vehicle passed through the weighting station (in or out) as highlighted in the ORANGE box
    1. clicking on the license plate lookup will automatically refine the search around the time frame of the image selected
  2. Use the scroll bar to move the image frames up and down to the desired time as highlighted with the BLUE box
  3. Once the vehicle has been identified, select and click on the image that shows the license plate of the vehicle as highlighted in the GREEN

  1. Zoom in on the license plate until you can see the numbers clearly
  2. Insert the license plate number in the field below
    1. Sometimes, the license plate number has being entered multiple times/registered which gives suggestions when inserting the license plate number. Make sure to validate before selecting any suggested plate numbers below
  3. Insert the haulers name if known
    1. If the license plate number is selected from the suggested list, this field could automatically be filled.
  4. Click done once completed

Completing a Contaminated Event Detection

  1. Make sure the contamination detected is annotated
    1. If this is not done, event will not be saved
  2. Ensure all information fields highlighted in the ORANGE box are properly filled
  3. If license plate was not found, please check the No license plate box
  4. Insert any important comment for future references
  5. Click on Save detection
