How to Submit an On-Demand Video Request

Guide Purpose:

- Show where to request an On-Demand video request
- Show what information is needed for an On-Demand Video request
- This guide IS NOT designed to:
- Show the content of the video Request
How to get to the Video request Page
- Click on the Fleet tab.
- Scroll or search for division of the video request.
- Type the vehicle information.
- Select the vehicle in the result.
- Click on the show button.
If Vehicle is Unknown but Address and Date are Provided
- Scroll or search for division of the video request.
- Type the location address.
- Input the location provided.
- The range shows the miles within the address we are looking to pull up (this is typically fixed except otherwise stated).
- Select the date you need the request for.
- select the time for the request if provided.
- If an exact time is not provided, use the time range to narrow the window down. Plus or minus the time service could have occurred.
- Click the apply button.
- Select the vehicle(s) in the result.
- Select all vehicles if you are not certain of the vehicle or time.
- Click on the show button.
How to Complete the Request Video Page
- Input the time frame of the path of the vehicle you are trying to capture as highlighted by the blue box.
- Select the date you are looking for.
- Select the time during the day you know the vehicle was around the address provided.
- If not certain, please use the 11:45 pm and select the duration as 1 day.
- Select the duration you want to run the path for.
- Type in the location of interest.
- Click on the locate button to pull up the address on the map.
- Click on the blue button on the map to pull up the address to show the address on the map.
- Select the arrow on the map close to the blue dot to pull information on the address.
- Click on the Request Video button.
Completing Video Request Section
- This shows the time where the recording is starting at.
- Select the minutes from the start time you would like to view.
- This allows you to adjust in seconds from the minutes selected if needed.
- The pink line in the map from the image below indicates where the video would be pulled.
- Select from the dropdown menu the type of video requests our customer is demanding for.
- Keep in mind that if this is for internal use case, we select System Check all the time.
- Select the camera you want the video footage from.
- We recommend that all cameras should be selected so there will be multiple angles to be reviewed.
- Click the submit button for the request to be sent to the review team.
Multiple vehicle selection
- The blue box shows the vehicles and the color in which the vehicles show on the map.
- When a vehicle is deselected, it also does not show up on the map anymore.
