Passenger is not wearing a seatbelt while the vehicle is in motion when going over a speed (mph) as determined by the tenant exceeding one of the following thresholds:
- 15
- 20
- 25
- 30
Example 1
- The truck is traveling at 43mph as seen in the green box.
- They do not appear to be currently servicing a route.
- You cannot see a seat belt across the passenger’s lap in the blue circle.
- In the red circle the seat belt can be seen hanging from the side of the truck and not on the helper.
- If you cannot see a seatbelt on the helper ONLY score as an infraction if you CAN see the seatbelt hanging from the side of the truck behind the helper.
- Some trucks do not have shoulder straps on the passenger side, and it can be difficult to see a lap belt at times if they are wearing a baggy shirt or a jacket.
