Request to Set-Up Integration 3rd Eye Steps for Integration Set-Up Companies Set-Up Organization Set-Up Adding Soft-Pak Parent Division Adding Each Company If the Customer has Service Bureau Make Sure it's Enabled and Use Cases are Configured Closing the Ticket

Request to Set-Up Integration

  1. We will receive an email to Support@3rdeyecam.comfrom Soft-Pak email domain requesting New 3rd Eye Integration.
  2. For 3rdEye to Proceed we will require the following details:
    1. Review Callback URL
    2. Customer Name
    3. Company List

Example of Data that Should be Received:

3rd Eye Steps for Integration Set-Up

Companies Set-Up

  1. Go to “Administration”
  2. Select “Configuration”
  3. Select “Companies”
    1. Find the correct Tenant based on the original request
  4. Important: Check if there is an existing Collection API Key
    1. If there isn’t a key, MEANING IF THE COLLECTION API KEY is empty, click “Generate New Key”
    2. Copy the “Collection API Key” and save it for later.

Organization Set-Up

  1. Go to “Organization”
  2. Find the correct tenant
  3. Select the top-level division
  4. Enable “Collection API”
  5. Check and make sure the Max Collection Distance (Residential) and Max Collection Distance (Non-Residential) are set to 25
    1. Important: Only check this value at first set-up of the account. If the value is set to a different value after set-up that may be expected.
  6. Click “New”
    1. Important: Take note of the Street, City, State, Zip, and Time Zone

Adding Soft-Pak Parent Division

  1. Type the name exact as Soft-Pak
  2. Fill in the Time Zone to match from the previous screen
  3. Fill in the Street to match from the previous screen
  4. Fill in the City to match from the previous screen
  5. Fill in the State to match from the previous screen
  6. Fill in the Zip to match from the previous screen
  7. Click “Create”

Adding Each Company

  1. If previous steps are done correctly you should see a division as shown below, select the Soft-Pak division
  2. Click “New”
  3. Type in the Name as matching the original email
  4. Make sure all the location information matches the parent, as previously done
  5. Click “Create”

  1. Rinse and repeat until all companies are added matching the original request as shown below:

If the Customer has Service Bureau Make Sure it's Enabled and Use Cases are Configured

  • Refer to System Administration - Managing Use Cases for setting up use cases
  • Refer to System Administration - How to enable Service Bureau for configuring Service Bureau

Closing the Ticket

  1. When all things are completed respond to the ticket with the following details:
    1. Collection API Key:
      1. Get the key from the step shown on page 4 and copy it into the ticket
    2. Tenant Name: 
      1. Get the exact tenant name, as shown in the page 5 as Name and copy it into the ticket
  2. Close the ticket with the updated reply above
    1. NOTE: All steps must be completed prior to closing the ticket.
