Guide Purpose: How to Login Into ADP Clocking In and Out Additional Tip Verifying Clocking Option Selected Review Punches Details End of Shift Attestation Statement

Guide Purpose:

  • This guide IS designed to:
    • Show how to log your time in ADP.
  • This guide IS NOT designed to:
    • Guide employees on their scheduled hours.

How to Login Into ADP

  1. Go to the ADP link. GlobalView Portal (adp.com)
  2. Insert your username.
  3. Insert your Password.
  4. Click on Sign in.

Clocking In and Out

  1. Click the “Shift Start” button at the beginning of your shift.
  2. Click the “Break Start” button at the start of your break/lunch.
  3. Click the “Break End” button at the end of your break/lunch.
  4. Click the “End Shift” button at the end of your shift.

Additional Tip

  1. Pay attention to the green circle in the blue box highlighted in the image below.
    1. This circle turns green when an employee clicks the “Start Shift” button and the “Break End” button.

Verifying Clocking Option Selected

  1. Click on the Recent Punches
    1. This allows you to pull up a list of punches you have made.

Review Punches Details

  1. In punch status shows up when an employee clicks the Shift Start button and the Break End button.
    1. Verifying this when a button is clicked will ascertain the right button was clicked.
    2. The system currently can’t distinguish which is start of shift or break end, so employee must use sound judgment when reviewing this.
  2. Out punch status shows up when an employee clicks the Shift End or Break Start button.
    1. Verifying this when a button is clicked will ascertain the right button was clicked.
    2. The system currently can’t distinguish which is start of shift or break end, so employee must use sound judgment when reviewing this.
  3. Click close button once verification is completed.

Note: You must wait for a minute in between punch change.

End of Shift Attestation Statement

  1. Read the attestation statement and select the “Agree” radio button when done
    1. This statement does not impact any employee that is not residing in California
    2. This statement does not impact part-time employees.
  2. Click submit to end your shift.
