Understanding the scope of Vehicle Activation
For new installs, we need to know the scope for vehicle activation to make sure the customer’s needs are meet. Please note that if this is a 21 days audit, you do not need to find the scope in Zendesk. This install has already been completed and the customer is in possession of it. So, we need to start from “how to view Verif-Eye Details” below.
- In Zendesk, type in the vehicle information into the search bar.
- Select the result that shows the vehicles info and activation request or something like activation.
- Shows information on the scope for the vehicle activation from Go Canvas.
How to view Verif-Eye Details
- Go to the Fleet tab
- Type in the Vehicle number
- Select the vehicle from the result section
- Click on the details button
How to View Details Page for Verif-Eye Digital QC
- The body type and the line of business are the 2 things we look out for in the body section. This section is highlighted in a purple box in the image blow. These 2 details must match the scope of the new install/vehicle activation.
- If the information in this section does not match the scope of the vehicle activation, then this fails Verif-Eye Digital QC
- The green box in the image blow shows the vehicle health information signals. This is a crucial section during Verif-Eye Digital QC.
- Connectivity: Shows if the device is communicating with the cloud.
- When the signal is Green, it shows Information is transmitted from the 3Rd-Eye devices installed on the vehicle for Verif-Eye to our Portal.
- When the signal is red, that means the devices are not connecting to our portal and events will not be uploaded.
- GPS: Shows if the vehicle can tell its current location.
- When the signal is Green, we can tell the location of the vehicle.
- When the signal is red, we are not able to tell where the vehicle has been. This makes it difficult to tell where the contamination occurred during that period.
- SD Cards: Are the recording storage devices inside our gateway units that are installed in the vehicle
- When the signal is green. it means we can store events footage in the storage devices available.
- When the signal is red, it means we are not able to store any of the events into our storage devices.
- Cameras: Are devices we install on our vehicles to capture images and videos internally or externally.
- When the signal is green on the PSV (Positive Service Verification)and Property camera, we can record footage and capture images for Verif-Eye.
- When the signal is red on the PSV (Positive Service Verification) and Property camera, there is no footage to be recorded or image to be captured. This means the device is not generating any event.
- Connectivity: Shows if the device is communicating with the cloud.

How to Pull Events
- Go to All Events Tab
- Select the service button
- Search or scroll for the division name if needed
- Type in the vehicle name
- Select the date range if needed
- Select the event you want to review
