How to view Details page for Purif-Eye Digital QC

  • The green box in the image blow shows the vehicle health information signals. This is a crucial section during Purif-Eye Digital QC.
    • Connectivity: Shows if the device is communicating with the cloud.
      • When the signal is Green, it shows Information is transmitted from the 3Rd-Eye devices installed on the vehicle for Purif-Eye to our Portal.
      • When the signal is red, that means the devices are not connecting to our portal and events will not be uploaded.
    • GPS: Shows if the vehicle can tell its current location.
      • When the signal is Green, we can tell the location of the vehicle.
      • When the signal is red, we are not able to tell where the vehicle has been. This makes it difficult to tell where the contamination occurred during that period.
    • J1939: Is the vehicle bus recommended practice used for communication and diagnostics among vehicle components.
      • When the signal is green. it means we can take advantage of the distance-based calculation for our profiles.
      • When the signal is red, it means we cannot get the benefit of the distance calculation to get the best location for the event to occur.
    • Cameras: Are devices we install on our vehicles to capture images and videos internally or externally.
      • When the signal is green on the contamination camera, we can record footage and capture images for Purif-Eye.
      • When the signal is red on the contamination camera, there is no footage to be recorded or image to be captured. This means the device is not generating any event.
  • The orange box highlights our profile system that enables the devices on the vehicle generate events per our configuration of the selected profile.
    • CCM Base profile: Depending on the vehicle and body type, 3rd Eye Software works with a profile fit for the business need. Once the business need is determined, we select a profile that allows the vehicle to accomplish the need. We also need to make sure the profile is built to include contamination being captured.
  • The blue box gives us the labels on the cameras installed in the vehicle. With this section we can identify the Purif-Eye camera and make sure it is properly labeled “Contamination”. Please refer to our 3rd Eye training packet on Camera details on how to identify cameras and verify if they are properly labelled.

How to Verify Event is Being Captured

How to Pull Events

  1. Go to All Events Tab.
  2. Select the service button.
  3. Search or scroll for the division name if needed.
  4. Type in the vehicle name.
  5. Select the date range if needed.
  6. Select the event you want to review.

How to Digital QC Magnif-Eye Events

  • Once the event pops up, we want o make sure we have a video view of the contamination camera. We can select the video icon highlighted in blue in the image below. This will pull up the contamination video.
  • On the orange box, we want to ascertain that our video is showing inside the hopper. We need to be able to see when the container dumps the trash and we can visibly see the content of what is being dumped.

As we can see the video clearly during the day, we want to make sure we get the same type of image at night. It’s important to review events from early morning or late night to make sure the same criteria for Purif-Eye Digital QC matches as you can see in the images below.
